FAQs

WHAT IS SCREEN PRINTING?

Screen printing is a process where ink is transferred to a shirt or other surface by way of a mesh stencil. The ink is then heat set into the fabric, effectively dying the fabric or setting the print on top of the fabric.

I'd be happy to discuss in more details with you the differing types of printing and options available but the options are limitless and I have printed on fabric of all sorts, paper, and even Skatelite skate ramp material. As always, my favorite choice whenever possible is Eco-friendly water-based ink.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM VINYL PRINTS?

Vinyl prints are prints created and cut on a vinyl printer. The areas of the print that are not wanted are then peeled away and the leftover is heat pressed onto the fabric. The vinyl can and often does degrade over time and can peel from the fabric rendering the shirt unwearable.

HOW SHOULD I WASH MY ITEM?
Machine wash inside-out with like colors and items on gentle cycle. Harsh detergents and fabric softeners should be avoided. Hang dry or tumble dry low. All screen printed items will naturally get slightly softer with each wash. Likewise, over time, colors on screen printed items may tend to fade a bit over time with many washings.
HOW ARE ITEMS SIZED?

Unless otherwise noted, items are unisex sizing. Specific sizing is noted in the product description of each product page. If an item runs slightly smaller or larger, we will make every effort to note that. Please make sure to check the sizing information as I do not except returns. Please see "What's Your Return Policy?" below.

WHAT'S YOUR RETURN POLICY?

As a small business producing small-batch orders, I do not accept returns or exchanges. Therefore it is critical that you purchase the correct size. Sizing information for each item should be included in the item description of each product page. If, however, your item is damaged, please email me with a description of the damage and attach a photo and I will get back in touch with you.

HOW IS MY ITEM SHIPPED?

Most items will be shipped via USPS and the corresponding charges will appear in your final order at check out. I also offer free Bainbridge Island delivery, which I will drop off myself, or you can always pickup your items if you'd rather.

For large, bulk orders, shipping will be calculated differently, and I will discuss this with you directly during the quote process. If you are ordering a bulk order locally, I will box and deliver it myself. How’s that for local?

WHEN WILL ITEMS BE RESTOCKED?

As with all hand-produced items, they take time to create. So as items sell out, I will do my best to restock. If an item or size is out of stock and you want one, please reach out to me. Some items are easier to produce individually so there is a possibility I may be able to accommodate that.

WHAT IS A LIMITED RUN?

A limited run is a shirt that has already been printed in limited sizes, colors, and quantities and once they are gone they are gone.

WHAT ARE PRESALE ITEMS AND WHEN WILL THEY BE AVAILABLE?

Some items may be posted on a presale basis and available at a given date. This means that you can purchase them in advance and when that date is met, production and shipping will begin. Typically presale items have a two- to three-week lead time before shipping.

BULK ORDERS

CAN I SPECIFY THE APPAREL BRAND FOR BULK ITEMS?

Yes, bulk orders are handled differently than in stock apparel designs. Brand, style, color and all other options on the project will be discussed and approved before any printing takes place. There are literally hundreds of options, all the way down to the type of ink used, and we can go over all those together.

DO YOU HAVE A PRICE LIST?

In short, no. Wholesale apparel pricing fluctuates frequently, and can even vary by shirt size and color, so each job is quoted as it comes in. That way you'll get the best pricing. Otherwise worst-case scenario must be assumed which means you are paying more than you should.

HOW DO I KEEP MY COSTS DOWN?

There are many factors that go into the price of your garment: the garment itself, the number of pieces ordered, the number of ink colors used in the print, the number of print placements, etc. And therefore there are also a lot of ways to help keep costs down. As a small business, everything will be done to keep costs to a minimum and pass that savings on to you.
